Scattered Pearls gathers the preserved fragments of a vast poetic legacy—more than 1,000 poems, 16 narrative works, and 3 dramatic pieces. A significant part of this body of work was created between 1946 and 1956 in camps and prisons and was later destroyed by the author himself.

What reaches the reader today are works—many of which were, in later years, dedicated on various occasions to the author’s friends and loved ones.

This collection was published in honor of Vaklush Tolev’s 85th anniversary.
