"Vaklush" - the film

Nikolay Vasilev is a screenwriter and director. He was awarded the Jameson Award (2010) for his film “Tales”. His creative career includes dozens of other award-winning films, among them “The Good Samaritan”, “The Road to Thebes”, “High”, “The Good Hell”, “Spare Wings”, and “Illumination”. In 2019, he released his film “The Formula of Theo”, dedicated to the renowned physics teacher from Kazanlak, Teodosi Teodosiev. In 2021, Nikolay Vasilev presented “Being the Master”, a portrait of Vladimir Dimitrov – The Master, as well as the film “Gladiator”, dedicated to two-time Olympic champion Boyan Radev.
